Can Assist Southern Highlands provides practical, financial assistance to those living in the Wingecarribee Shire receiving treatment, ongoing management of their cancer, and experiencing hardship as a consequence.

We are part of the Can Assist network, a not-for-profit registered charity committed to ensuring that all people, regardless of where they live in rural/regional NSW, have access to cancer treatment and care.

The Can Assist Southern Highlands branch is run totally by volunteers, some of whom have first-hand knowledge of just what a cancer diagnosis means.

If you’d like to know more about what we do, feel free to Contact Us and the appropriate committee member will be in touch.

Better yet, why not become a member or volunteer today? You’ll find the Membership & Volunteer Forms on the Support Us page.

You can also find us on Facebook if that’s more your thing.

  • A Big Thank You to Our Local Highlands Community
We want to say a very heartfelt thank you to our local community, in thinking of others who may have a need for Can Assist help, at a very challenging time in their lives, coupled with the additional strain of the pandemic.
